City of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia - Local Government We do not allow sidewalk sales unless it is a business conducting a sale for that business on their own property. Yard sales are allowed in residential areas of the city but a permit must be obtained at City Hall (see Andrea Catlett) and only 3 are allowed per year.
